Update – Retail Customers

Following on from our message in May – we thank you for your on-going patience whilst we worked through our backorders. You will be pleased to know that we have made significant progress –  and whilst we are still working through some backorders – we aim to be accepting all new retail orders again from the week commencing the 6th September 2021.

Going forward – to avoid disappointment with your restoration – we recommend that you place your order in plenty of time.

We encourage all new customers who are happy to wait to enquire using our website as follows:

Austin Healey & Triumph TR Customers – browse our extensive product library for details and pricing – selecting the products you are considering using our unique “Build a Quote” system. Once submitted, our experienced sales team can review our choices and get back in touch to discuss the finer details and send you material samples based on your choices.

Jaguar & MGA Customers – find lots of useful information and photos about the products we can offer for your restoration on the individual Model Pages for each marque/model. At the bottom of these model pages, you will find a Contact Form specific to your car – which you can fill in and submit with your restoration requirements – and one of our experienced sales team will formulate a Quote for you to get the ball rolling.

Note that all further information related to your enquiry will be processed and responded to after the 6th September 2021.

How does Build A Quote work?

Our online Build A Quote system enables you to browse our product offering with full transparency of pricing and colour options. It is the easiest way to view and understand our products and availability. You can add any number of options to your quote with no commitment to purchase at a later stage. It is completely obligation free.

On submitting a quote to us, we will review your selections alongside the details of your car and be back in touch with you to discuss further within 72 hours of receiving your online submission.


I’m not sure what I need – can I just speak to you?

To get the best use of our service and advice, please start by submitting a quotation to us through our website – even if it’s not quite exactly what you need, or even know you need! By sending us this initial information over the website, we are in the best position to get back to you with specific knowledgeable guidance over the phone.

We respond to all quotes received over our website within 72 hours.


I’m a trader. Can I see wholesale / discount prices?

We do offer trade discounts. Please fill out a quotation as normal and we will be back in touch with you with details of trade prices.


You explain there’s no payment, but on submitting the quote I am being asked to input my billing and shipping address details – why is this?

With a worldwide customer base, we need to know what country we are receiving the quote from. This enables us to –

  • calculate a shipping cost specific to the destination
  • calculate VAT. VAT (20%) will automatically be added to quotations that have a shipping destination in the UK.


When will I find out how much Shipping will cost?

We will calculate a shipping cost based on the shipping address you supply to us and the quantity/size of products you have added to your quotation. We will inform you of the final shipping cost when we speak to you over the phone after receiving your quotation.

My quote has changed from local currency to GBP on the Final Review. Why is this?

We can only accept payments in GBP. Other currencies we display are for your reference only. Your quote will automatically change to GBP on the checkout page.


I’ve submitted a quote – what now?

We’ll give you a call! Please allow us 72 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to get back to you after submitting your quotation. When we phone you we will –

  • review the items added to your quote to check they are correct for your make and model of car and advise on any additional items you may require;
  • discuss colour and material options – we will arrange to send samples out to you based on your selections;
  • advise on our current lead times for the products selected, and
  • confirm a final shipping cost.

We will revise the quotation based on our conversation that we will then send to you over email directly.


I’ve received my revised quotation from you, but I still want to make changes. Do I need to fill out another online quotation?

No. Easiest thing to do is reply to us directly on email with the revisions you want to make to your quotation and we will amend it accordingly.
