Hardura
Hardura & Armacord are heavy duty felt backed materials that were used on the Jaguar and Austin Healey ranges respectively. These materials are very similar – both being a jute felt-backed PVC plastic coated material with an embossed grain pattern to replicate Vinyl / Leather. Hardura has a ‘smooth’ grained finish, whereas Armacord features ribs running across the grain – akin to the Karvel carpets used in the Healey models of this era. Both are available in a wide range of colours, but not as extensive as the Vinyl and Leather colour ranges – so considerations have to be made for this when some interior colour choices are being made.
