Leathercloth
Leathercloth (which may also be referred to as Vynide), is a grained plastic material with a thin woven cotton backing that gradually took over from Rexine (an original trim material which is no longer available on the market). Due to its lack of stretch, Leathercloth has since been superseded by Vinyl which has proved more flexible to work with and gives better results for panels and seats that feature high frequency welding details.
Although we don’t use Leathercloth for our panels and seats, we stay true to originality by using Leathercloth across all our piping and binding work.
