In accordance with the original factory production lines, we use leathercloth for all of our piping – except where colours are unavailable and we custom make vinyl piping to customer specification.

Made from our range of leathercloth colours, our piping is pre-glued and slit around a plastic piping core. We favour using leathercloth over vinyl for our piping; it’s thinner and has no stretch which minimises wrinkling and gives a good finish round corners and curves. It’s also less prone to snagging than its vinyl counterpart.

We also offer the original ‘Chrome’ piping as used to the AH 3000 Mark 3 BJ8 front and rear seats, and the original plastic piping as used to the TR4 to TR6 range.
