Immediately following on from the TR4 and TR4A productions – the TR5 and accompanying TR250 models followed suit in a number of interior trim and upholstery areas. The principle of the sunvisors had been tested on the earlier TR4/4A models, and was continued for the later TR models, albeit with some notable changes. The predominant trim colour was Black, in keeping with the rest of the dash and console area – although records show that possibly some left with white “longhorn” pvc as per the earlier TR4 versions. Replacing the board backing panel of the TR4 era – the TR5/6 versions included a metal wire framework and thick foam inners making them a little softer on the eye. They also included a vanity mirror situated on the passenger side. The method of attaching these visor assembly units to the car was also updated from the earlier TR4/4a models.

We supply these in Black PVC, as per original spec, using a wire framework and rod bracket to maintain the shape of the visor. These can be supplied with a mirror on the passenger side, in line with factory specifications – or we can offer a universal option where there are two mirrors or no mirrors.
