Headlining
Our Wool Cloth headliner was commonly used on the Jaguars of the 1950s-1970s era and offers a very luxurious finish. It is available in three shades – Beige, Grey and Green. It is supplied either with or without a pre-bonded backing foam. Some marques used the non-foamed version (XK models and the MK2), whereas others used a combination of the two; pre-bonded foam backing for the main ceiling area and non-foamed for the surrounding areas. This was commonly seen on the E-Type models and some of the later Saloon / Sedan models.
Pre-bonded headliner is a new addition to our range based on feedback from customers and trimmers who found the process of attaching foam then headliner in two separate processes both lengthy and cumbersome. Our pre-bonded version makes the trimming of the headliner area much simpler and the smooth finish foam backing takes easily to contact adhesive glue. You can read more about our Pre-bonded headliner in our Handbook post – In Detail: Our Headlining Kits.
