Often warped and damaged – do not let this part let your car down – replace it with a John Skinners kit, either to original specifications, or upgrade the finish to a carpet covered panel and be the envy of our TR enthusiasts.

The Trunk area, or “Boot” as us Brits call it, remained unchanged throughout the production period ranging from 1953 to 1962, which saw over 80,000 Triumph TR2, TR3, and TR3A/B models leaving the production line in Coventry. Originally fitted with a millboard panel to cover the front bulkhead of the Boot / Trunk area directly behind the main fuel tank. The large majority of TR2 to TR3A/B models left this part supplied in a black surface grain finish – imitating the look of leather – but a few early TR2 models would have left with this panel in the same colour as the bodywork trim.

John Skinner Ltd has used the same templated design based on the original panel for decades – supplying tens of thousands of these over the years.  We offer it in the pre-cut black grain-faced millboard material – as per the majority of the original factory production line cars. This includes a creased bottom edge for fitment into the car. We can also offer a more premium option as part of our JS Bespoke range – where we upholster this millboard in Vinyl, Nylon or Wool – giving the whole Boot area a more luxury look and feel.

You should consider the floor Mat and Side Panel Kit in conjunction with this Boot Liner Board to achieve the best results when restoring your Boot Trunk area of your Triumph TR.
