Your material & colour choices are the starting points for a beautiful interior.
We recommend choosing the main colour of your interior from our Primary Materials. These materials are used across panel and seat work and determine the dominant colour of your interior. Our Secondary Materials are used across flooring and other areas, and these are available in a colour range to complement your Primary Material choice. To help you understand how we have structured our Material and Colours Library into Primary and Secondary Materials, please read our helpful guide below, or read our Handbook post – Colour Focus: Primary and Secondary Materials.

A Guide to Primary and Secondary Materials
At John Skinner (Manufacturing) Ltd, we break down our materials & and their corresponding colour ranges into two categories: Primary Materials & Secondary Materials.
This approach is in accordance with the original factory production lines.
Primary Materials refer to Vinyl & Leather. These are used across panels & seats to determine the dominant colour of your interior & are available in an extensive range of colours. We can colour match very closely between our Vinyl & Leather ranges.
Secondary materials refer to Carpet, Moquette, Furflex, Hardura, Armacord & Headliner. These are used across flooring & other assorted areas of your car. Available in a small, concise palette, your choice of colour for these materials is usually determined by the panels & seats, but could also be influenced by the external paint colour of your car. The colour range of our Secondary Materials has been built to complement, but not necessarily match exactly, to our Primary Materials.
